The design of the space has been carefully planned to meet the client’s business needs and align with their design standards. One major change was relocating the entrance closer to the main building entrance to improve the customer experience. The front desk is positioned to welcome everyone and encourage collaboration by opening up the conference room to the lobby area.Furniture throughout the space is diverse, approachable, and comfortable, including the customer area. Glazed partitions with designs inspired by old house construction and wall cladding inspired by Skopje’s brutalist buildings have been integrated to add personality to the space. A custom-designed poster with Macedonia’s mountain peaks is located along the corridor leading to the workspace area, encouraging employees to explore nature. The main workspace area includes a bistro-style kitchen separated by sliding glass and wood doors for sound insulation and privacy.Accessibility was a key consideration in the design process. The reception desk includes a lower, wheel-in counter for wheelchair users, and furniture placement ensures clear paths through the space. Appropriate patterns and tonal contrast were used to help those with visual impairments navigate the layout. Clear paths of travel and circulation were incorporated throughout the design, and adjustable shelving and accessible supply storage were integrated into the print area.The existing restroom was redesigned to meet accessibility standards, and clearance was provided for all doors and corridors to ensure a safe and comfortable space for everyone. The finished design successfully created a functional, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing space that aligns with the client’s design standards. The new layout transformed the space into an inviting and collaborative environment, leaving a positive impression on both employees and customers.
